Matthew 26:25 - Additional Comments

The description of the events here is limited. We see in John (John 13:24-30) that Judas did dip in the bowl with Jesus, and that he left the room before Communion was instantiated.
At this point, both Jesus and Judas knew that Judas was the one. This exchange was sort of a subtle secret exchange between them, both realizing without saying it that the other knows.
So Judas knew full well that it was him. He put on the good Christian face, but has huge hidden sin in his life. That happens so often in the church. Is there anything going on in your life that shouldn't be? Judas had the opportunity to stop, but he plunged on ahead to destruction. You have the opportunity to stop, but you won't - you will plunge right ahead to your own destruction.
