And Jesus saith unto him, See thou tell no man; but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.

Matthew 8:4 - Additional Comments

Jesus told the leper to show himself to the priest - a commandment for completion of cleansing as prescribed in Lev 13.
Why did Jesus tell the healed leper not to tell anyone? Possibly because Jesus' focus was on spiritual healing, and He did not want to focus His ministry on physical healing.
