Philemon 1:3 - Additional Comments

This is such a common greeting in Paul's letters, but what a great position if the recipients had God's grace and God's peace. This was more than a formal greeting, knowing Paul - I sure this was his deepest wishes and prayers for them (see vs 4) to have God's grace and God's peace in their lives. How great our lives are when we regularly have this with God.
Do you have this? Grace and peace? Do you see God's grace on your life? Do you, by your relationship with God, regularly have His peace in your life, even in the midst of turmoil? This is what God wants, and this is what God makes available to us, as we mature in Him. But we need that maturing relationship with Him.
