Zephaniah 1:12

And it shall come to pass at that time, that I will search Jerusalem with candles, and punish the men that are settled on their lees: that say in their heart, The LORD will not do good, neither will he do evil.

Here the sin listed is "complacency", which is also translated as "stagnant in spirit", "satisfied ", "settled", or literally wine stored over a long period of time. God wants us to always be seeking Him, to always be stretching to new heights in our Christian walk. Accepting status quo is not enough, because you will always be rising or falling.
