Luke 5:10 - Additional Comments
The comparison of catching fish and catching men implies that Jesus is also saying did you see the number of fish you caught? Wait until you see how many men will be caught when I bless your fishing! And these men were what the entire Christian church was built upon (Matt 16:18).
Note the progress of discipleship - Jesus drew these apostles to Himself, and they would be drawing others to Him, who would draw others to Him. This is the progression described in 2 Tim 2:2.
